President Meron to participate in International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg

Judge Theodor Meron, President of the ICTY and the MICT, left today for St. Petersburg with a delegation of Presidents of international courts and tribunals at The Hague upon the invitation of the Russian Federation Minister of Justice.

The delegation, which will also include the Minister of Justice of the Netherlands, will participate in the International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg under the patronage of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

President Meron's principal address will be "The Role of Nürnberg as an Inspiration for the Establishment of Today’s International Criminal Courts".
