Three ad litem Judges make their solemn declarations

On Wednesday 10 April 2002, three ad litem Judges made their solemn declarations, pursuant to Rule 14 of the Tribunal’s Rules of Procedure and Evidence. The declarations were witnessed by the Registrar of the Tribunal, Hans Holthuis, on behalf of the Secretary-General of the United Nations. The three ad litem Judges are:

Mohamed El Habib Fassi Fihri (Morocco)
Volodymyr Vassylenko (Ukraine)
Per-Johan Viktor Lindholm (Finland)

The ad litem Judges have been assigned by the President of the Tribunal, Judge Claude Jorda, to the following two trials:

The Prosecutor v. Milomir Stakic
Mohamed El Habib Fassi Fihri
Volodymyr Vassylenko

The Prosecutor v. Simic et al.
Per-Johan Viktor Lindholm
