MILAN SIMIC HAS RETURNED TO THE HAGUE FROM PROVISIONAL RELEASE


On 13 August 2001, Milan Simic returned to the Tribunal’s detention facility in The Hague from provisional release.


Milan Simic travelled to the Republika Srpska on 7 June 2000 after being granted provisional release by Trial Chamber III on 29 May of that year under terms and conditions detailed in the decision (see Press Release 506).


Simo Zaric and Miroslav Tadic, who are also part of the Bosanski Samac case were provisionally released on 19 April 2000. Both will be expected to return to The Hague Tribunal before the start of the trial, due to commence on 10 September 2001.
