SIMO ZARIC AND MIROSLAV TADIC HAVE RETURNED TO THE HAGUE FROM PROVISIONAL RELEASE




Yesterday, 3 September 2001, Simo Zaric and Miroslav Tadic returned to the Tribunal’s detention facility in The Hague from provisional release.




Simo Zaric and Miroslav Tadic travelled to the Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 19 April 2000 after being granted provisional release by Trial Chamber III on 4 April of that year under terms and conditions detailed in the decision (see Press Releases 487 and 492).




Milan Simic, who is also part of the Bosanski Samac case, was provisionally released on 7 June 2000. He returned to The Hague on 13 August 2001 for the start of the trial, due to commence on 10 September 2001.
