Blaskic case: motions hearing commencing on Wednesday 12 March.

 

As of Wednesday 12 March at 2.30 p.m., Trial Chamber I, consisting of Judge JORDA (Presiding), Judge LI and Judge RIAD, will hold a hearing on the Motions filed by the Defence.

The motions to be argued are the following:

1. The motion filed on 28 February 1997 requesting the Tribunal issues a Subpoena to the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina compelling the production of documents "believed to be exculpatory" (See attached copy of Press Release 162)

2. The four Preliminary Motions filed on 4 and 16 December 1996.

A comprehensive summary of these motions, of the Prosecutor's responses thereto and the Defence's replies has been prepared by the Press and Information Office: it is attached to this Press Release, or can be requested.
