Celebici/Update 6 : clerical amendment of the indictment
On 2 October 1996, Judge Claude Jorda ordered an amendment to the indictment which he had confirmed on 21 March 1996 against Zejnil DELALIC, Zdravko MUCIC, Hazim DELIC et Esad LANDZO.
Stating that there had been a clerical error, the Prosecutor indicated that the name of Zejnil DELALIC had been omitted from the last sentence of paragraph 31 which charges counts 38 and 39 (Command responsibility with having intentionally caused great physical or mental suffering). In a request dated 18 September 1996, the Prosecutor had asked for leave to amend the indictment. Judge Jorda has just granted the request.
The last sentence of paragraph 31 therefor reads: "By their acts and omissions, Zejnil DELALIC, Zdravko MUCIC and Hazim DELIC are responsible for:".
