Prosecutor Serge Brammertz presented today to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) the Office of the Prosecutor’s (OTP) 24th completion strategy report, covering the period from 16 May to 15 November 2015.

Prosecutor Serge Brammertz will be in Belgrade on 19 and 20 November, as part of preparations for his regular biyearly report to the UN Security Council (UNSC).


 I am deeply honoured to assume the Presidency of the ICTY at a crucial moment, shortly before it closes its doors. In many ways, the task of closing down the Tribunal will be as challenging as it is painful and unenviable.

The Tribunal today launched a new version of its website to ensure its work and achievements are even more accessible to the public.


Following the death of defence expert witness Mr. Dušan Dunjić last week, an autopsy was conducted by the Dutch authorities. A pathologist from Serbia was also in attendance and observed the autopsy. As a result of the autopsy it was concluded that Mr.
